The Newcastle Netball 11yrs Development Squad offers young players a unique opportunity to elevate their game by engaging with teammates from various clubs, each bringing diverse skill levels and perspectives.

 

Through accredited and experienced coaches, players are exposed to techniques and strategies that may be new to them, helping unlock their full potential.

 

The program challenges players to adapt and refine their skills, both individually and within a team setting, while preparing them for higher levels of competition.

 

Emphasising key values such as attendance, punctuality, responsibility, and focus, the squad fosters a disciplined yet supportive environment. Beyond skill development, it encourages players to build lasting friendships and enjoy the game, all while paving the way for future elite opportunities.  

 

Players born in 2014 are invited to nominate via  https://www.newcastlenetball.com.au/repforms

 

Nominations close Friday 13 September.

Phase 1 selections will take place on Saturday 21 September @ 2:30pm at National Park.

 

Successful players will undertake training on the following dates: -

 

Tuesday 22 October 5:30pm - 7:00pm

Thursday 24 October 5:30pm - 7:00pm

Tuesday 29 October 5:30pm - 7:00pm

Thursday 31 October 5:30pm - 7:00pm 

Tuesday 5 November 5:30pm - 7:00pm

Thursday 7 November 5:30pm - 7:00pm

 

Final Squad Selections will take place

• Training commences in February and continues till the end of June (excludes school holidays) - Thursday Nights - 5:30 - 7:30pm

• Aspire 11's Development Day - held on a Saturday in February

• Carnivals x 3 - Sundays - dates and location to be decided

• Round Robins - Tuesday Nights x 2 and Thursday Night (Training Night)
