SUPPORTING THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH'S INTERNATIONAL AWARD

Netball NSW as a recognised Duke 4Sport partner, offers exciting, inclusive, and meaningful opportunities across New South Wales for young people to complete the Physical Recreation, Skills, and Voluntary Service Sections of their Duke of Ed journey at Bronze, Silver, and Gold Levels.

As a Netball NSW affiliate association, Newcastle Netball Association and it's member clubs are proud to support those completing the Duke of Ed Award in our community.

Information for schools and students

Ready to take the next step? Here’s how:

  1. Find a Duke of Ed Centre near you and start a conversation with the Duke of Ed Leader.

  2. Once you've found your nearest Duke of Ed Centre, register with The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award through your school or organisation.

  3. Once registered, contact your local Netball NSW club or association to express your interest in completing your Physical Recreation, Skills, or Voluntary Service.

  4. We'll match you with the right opportunity and provide an Assessor to guide and support your progress.
